Holmes and her partner Lind were called in to watch over the murder site when the county deputy, Aikensen was unable to do so. Titus was angry about this, but Garroway informed him that this was just a "babysitting" job to keep the crime scene pure.
Lind was very tall and gaunt. He is also described as too young to shave. He was killed along with his partner, Holmes by Aikensen.
